Marie,

Enjoyed your email very much. It was both interesting to compare both our
crossings of the Pacific.  Our trip from the Galapagos to the Marqueses was
almost all downwind except for the first few days. We have had the same
impeller problem in some seas. I think the intake comes out of the water and
the system air locks. We just let it sit for a while and it goes back to
normal.

We have WWIV in Port Angeles WA and will go back up to AK again this summer
and then start moving her back to the East Coast. We will be going through
the Canal for the fourth time about a year from now. Any current words of
wisdom would be helpful. We used Peter Stevens the last time.  We never went
into the marina in 2005. What's it like?

Have a great time and don't hurry out of the Marqueses.

Good Luck,

Dennis
