I'm happy to announce that we are able to take the first step forward on that path. Through a partnership with Amazon.com, Theatre Puget Sound is able to offer financial assistance to arts organizations or individual artists producing an Arts Crush Featured Event with a focus on the creation of new writing or the fostering of new writers/authors. Applicable disciplines include literature and theatre, but we will also look at collaborative and/or multi-disciplinary projects that share the above focus. For those of you to which this focus area does not apply, please know that we are working hard to secure additional funding that will allow us to further support the broad spectrum of disciplines and events represented in the festival.
