Which moorings would those be? Its been over a year since I've been to Venice
but I don't know of any moorings. Its also a very limited area for anchoring.
Also, I really don't know of any "scruffy" live-aboards anchored there.

I'm not a scruffy live-aboard @ Venice , but it certainly sounds enticing !
