Paypal is the best way, 'cuz it gets it to him immediately (snail mail
takes forever) and also converts U$D into CAD or any other currency you
specify, eliminating that issue for the recipient. Using PayPal does,
however, require that both the sender and the recipient have a Paypal
account. Arild does have one. To send money to him, you only need his
email address--which has recently changed. I have the new one if he
didn't use it for his last post here.
If you don't have a paypal account, this is only one of the reasons why
you should. I've had one for more than 10 years. It's easy to set up,
totally secure, and VERY handy to have if you buy online 'cuz more and
more merchants are accepting it, eliminating the need to expose your own
credit card numbers on websites.
