From Dan Rottino: 01/11/14 - Old Lyme, Smith Neck's Landing -- 1:40 PM; 1 SNOWY OWL visible very briefly as the fog shifted on an osprey platform on the opposite side of Great Island. Then in less than a minute it began to rain, the pea soup thickened, and the view vanished.
