Visitors:
No visitors today.
Weather:
A mostly cloudly day with moderate WNW to NW winds. Temps started out at 8C
and got to a high of 10C.
Raptor Observations:
A small flight today with just 66 raptors... mostly N. Harriers (12) and
Redtails (22) but also a few Merlins and a single Golden Eagle.
Non-raptor Observations:
The highlight of the non-raptors today were 6 CAVE SWALLOWS that passed
through the hawk watch area. This is not a surprise given all of sightngs
of this species along the shores of both Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and in
fact we had been watching for them to pass over the past few days.
