OK, Georgs says that in order to keep this board going, I have to contribute
to the posts.  Last year, I crossed the Pacific from Oahu to Astoria, Oregon.
There was nothing so spectacular this year.  But we did leave in May from
Oregon and cruised up through the Salish Sea through British Columbia and the
Inside Passage to Alaska.  We didn't return until late in August.  What was
different this year was that I started a blog instead of sending out personal
emails.  While the cruise this year is much less germane to PUP than in years
past, it does discuss some life aboard.  Most of it is more like a travel log
of places in South East Alaska, but there is also a tour of Flat Earth.  And
No, Dave, it doesn't include pictures of the new hydraulic pump setup!  I
invite you all to view the blog at your leisure for whatever interest you may
get out of it.  It is probably best viewed in chronological order:
