I was happy to see a male Pine Warbler on a suet cage as a thunderstorm
rolled through around noon on Monday. He started coming back and forth to
feed, and after a bit I noticed a female Pine Warbler here too. I didn't
have much time to watch on Tuesday, but the male returned for the day. Today
brought me two males. Both fed all day, though they obviously stayed away
from one another - or it was chase time. The video is from today, about 2
minutes, completely clean of course:

As I said on the video page, a Pine Warbler visiting feeders is not
particularly rare, but the frequency and duration of visits, number of
birds, and April date combine to make it a strange and (immensely!)
enjoyable event. This isn't January, or even early March, and although
Monday wasn't great bird weather, the past two days should have been okay
for feeding. The whole experience beats my Thanksgiving Nashville at the
feeders several years ago on the warbler scale.
Finally, I am stuck at six Siskins, though I do appreciate the six. Today
one of them started pulling on some dog fur that I put up in a suet cage
every spring...draw your own conclusions. I did not see anything beyond
that, but I'll be watching.
