I am looking for someone that would enjoy writing an occasional blog promoting the goings on in the local arts scene. This is a hobby-blog, and I do not anticipate monetizing it for at least 6-12 months. This is purely something fun for the right person. The writing style of the blog is short and concise, with as much humor as possible. I know there are other blogs about Tacoma, so here's a little background on myself and the direction I'm going. I'm marketing person that loves to write and create. I ran a successful website and social media presence in another community for the past six years. It started as a hobby-blog like this one and I sold the site and the social media presence prior to moving to Tacoma earlier this month. This new Tacoma website will differentiate itself from other blogs by focusing on being fun, funny, and easy to read. The mission is to 1) reinforce the local active culture and 2) reach locals who need a push. I don't do news, politics, or potholes.
