After reading in the Digest yesterday about making pastes of peanut butter,
corn meal, lard, etc., I looked up some recipes and tried it. Within an
hour of mashing the chilled results into a large suet holder, a Carolina
appeared! 10 minutes later, another one joined in! Was it the mash or
the improved weather? We'll never know. Just so glad to see them.
