Wanted: New artists! Are you a Tacoma area artist that would love to show your work at a retail location? We have openings at the 253 Collective cooperative gallery. If you are interested in showing and selling your work to the local community, consider joining the collective. The commitments and benefits of joining the 253 Collective: Commitments - Reasonable monthly membership fee (Membership fee is $10 and $20 for lease, Total of $30 per month) - Work one Saturday a month to staff the retail shop - Attend monthly meeting (first Tuesday of each month) - Licensed art business - Help promote 253 Collective by doing another assigned task each month Benefits - Commission free sales - Reasonable monthly fee/lease - Have your art featured on our website - Have your art displayed at 253 Collective Gallery - Access to the retail shop space to meet clients; hold exhibits and special sales events - Opportunity to work with local businesses and the community supporting and promoting the arts - Networking with other artists - 253 Collective is a member of the Tacoma Art Group To be considered as a 253 Collective member, send five samples (jpg) of your work to 253Collective@gmail.com.
