I am sure he meant in ten years you will not be able to buy
a NEW trawler w/o electronic engine controls.  HOWEVER,
there are still going to be a lot of us with older,
non-electronic engines.  And, if the small outboard engine
market (where 2-cycle engines and hard to come by and
expensive when you do) is any measure of the future, older
and simpler diesels will be hot items.
