CT Birders -

Just thought some of you might be interested in knowing about a female rufous hummingbird that had been observed coming to a feeder in CT since October 14th. I had been working  with this women for about 3 weeks time.  The bird moved on yesterday after having been seen visiting the feeder from early morning until 10-10:30 am. The bird has not been seen since.

IME this is a bird that has moved on after feeding heavily in the morning on a warm temperature day and pushing off mid morning! Lets hope her travels brought her to a more hospitable environment!

Pretty cool stuff!
