I know the state DEP once had a program in which they kept track of turkeys in the state.  Does anyone know if they are still recording data?

At 8:00am this morning, had 2 adult turkeys followed by 6 young ones in our yard in Woodbury.

Hi Marten - I think there is a form you can download on the CT DEP website
for monitoring turkeys. They do monitor hens with poults. If you can't find
anything on the website the person to contact is Michael Gregonis at the
Franklin Wildlife Division, michael.gregonis@po.state.ct.us .

Cheers,
Kersey
