Today at approx 1pm I had a Yellow-headed blackbird visit my backyard feeder in the Forest Glade area of Windsor (Chestnut Drive). The bird was in a mixed flock of starlings and Brown-headed cowbirds. It was an adult male bird. The bird stayed for approximately 10 minutes before leaving, I have not seen it since. I was able to obtain photographs. I had very briefly observed the bird early Thursday morning, but because of work commitments I didn`t know if it was returning, although I kept the feeders full since initially seeing it. Unfortunately the feeders are not viewable from the road, but the flock of birds it was with spent some time up in the tree canopy which could be easily viewed from Chestnut drive.
Good birding!
