We are planning to start great loop in August from Georgian Bay on Lake Huron. We and two other sailboats are planning on shipping our masts to Mobile from Chicago. We are looking for suggestions for a marina in Chicago that can arrange that and/or a transportation service for getting the masts to a Mobile marina. Hi: We are also planning to do the loop this year in a sailboat. We have a Northeast 400 pilothouse with a 50 ft mast. We plan to leave Maine in June and to be in Chicago in early September. We would also like to have our mast shipped from Chicago to Mobile. I assume one truck could carry at least six masts.
