From Sara Zagorski with Annette Cunniffe, the Rottino family, and Tim Antanitis: 02/22/14 - Greenwich, Greenwich Pt -- After spending the entire day at the point looking for the Eared Grebe with many other birders, sharp-eyed Annette Cunniffe spotted the bird at 3:30 pm, giving us great front and side looks. It came in with the high tide and was swimming in front of the tall orange buoy, at the toll booth entrance area. Great looks in late afternoon sun. Enfield, Barnes Boat Launch -- at least 16 NORTHERN PINTAILS scattered along the edge on both sides of the river.
