From Paul Carrier:
05/12/14 - Harwinton, yard -- from 5:45 to 6:15 PM, in my back yard as
I was relaxing, I saw much bird movement up in the tree tops feeding
and moving as they were heading south. Got my nocks and had 11 species
of Warblers, best being an Orange-crowned Warbler1 up at the top of a
tall Oak tree!

From Tina Green:
05/12/14 - Westport, Compo Beach -- 2 Black Terns (with 100+ Common
Terns) "swarming" over Cockenoe Island west of Compo Beach.

From Jack Swatt:
05/12/14 - Farmington, Batterson Park -- morning; WILSON'S WARBLER.

From Zellene Sandler:
05/12/14 - Bloomfield -- about 6 male Bobolinks in the meadows at the
model plane airfield and behind Seabury.  I am sure I am way
underestimating since the grasses are starting to get a bit tall.

From aul Desjardins with Mickey Nordell:
05/12/14 - Windsor, Northwest Park -- 2 Swainson's Thrushes seen with
Mickey Nordell  and later in the morning seen by myself in the
Poquonock section of town.

From Judy Moore and Marty Moore:
05/12/14 - Durham, Durham Fairgrounds -- five Black Vultures circling
over the west end, a Solitary Sandpiper by a small puddle, and at
least two Bobolinks.

From Phil Rusch:
05/12/14 - Storrs, UCONN, Horsebarn Hill. There were 8-10 Bobolinks
displaying and chasing each other this afternoon.

From Chris Bosak:
05/12/14 - Milford, Coastal Center at Milford Point -- White-winged
Scoter.

From Edward Sadowsk:
05/12/14 - Hartford, Cedar Hill Cemetery --  Bay Breasted Warbler (2)
at noon.  Also Blackburnian Warbler.

From Stefan Martin:
05/12/14 - Stamford -- I literally just got out of my car to see a
Yellow-billed Cuckoo fly in from the neighbors yard and land about 15
feet up in an exposed Oak. He gave great views for about a minute
before landing no more than 20 feet away from me under the feeders!
Not a bad way to end my day.

From Dan Rottino and Family:
05/12/14 - East Haddam yard -- 1 male BAY-BREASTED WARBLER slowly
working the tree tops.  A first for the yard and my first in East
Haddam.

From Peter DeGennaro:
05/12/14 - New Haven, West Rock Ridge SP -- Best bird was a
Yellow-billed Cuckoo over the Judges Cave trail past the main scrub
oak section.
Hamden/New Haven, East Rock Park -- 2 Common Raven, Wilson's Warbler.

From Bob Cartoceti:
05/12/14 - Oxford, Christian Rd. at corner of Hawley Road -- at least
three pair of BOBOLINK (mixed in with Red-winged Blackbirds) at
western end of large field.

From Roy Harvey:
05/12/14 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- 2 male Bobolink in the
field next to the Kellog Center parking, gone an hour later.  Field is
really too small for Bobolinks.

From Mark Scott:
05/12/14 - Hamden/ New Haven, East Rock Park --  with reports from
many observers; Yellow-billed Cuckoo (river path), Black-billed Cuckoo
(Trowbridge Drive).  20 warbler species including Tennessee Warbler,
Wilson's Warbler (several),  and Blackburnian Warbler.
