I wondered whether the Ext Ref was supposed to be RF or PPS. Maybe it is supposed to be PPS instead. This datasheet says "1 PPS Input (Optional - other input options available)". It appears that I may have to open the box (it is not obvious how to do so) to see what kind of oscillator it has. In any case, the device appears not to be a cleanup oscillator but a disciplined quartz oscillator of the type designed to attach to a GNSS radio. Thanks!

Hi It’s likely got a 10 MHz OCXO in it. Best guess is you have one that is looking for a 1 PPS input. That is only a guess ….. (sub versions did get other inputs).
