V 1.14 has been uploaded to Google Play Store. This version displays the U.S. Coast Guard's 7 volume light lists (one or more at a time), offline (download first). These are currently being updated each week, from the latest Local Notice to Mariners. So, you can keep current without a lot of aggravation. This version supports: find the nearest, light list item (as well as display the entire list). Display all the data for that, or any item: name, light characteristic, remarks, structure, latitude, longitude. And, if the GPS has a fix: the distance, bearing and time to reach, calculated from your present speed. Each item displays an Icon that attempts to match what the real light or nav. aid would look like. This newest version fixes several stability issues with using multiple light lists and with using the GPS. The price for all this functionality is $1.00 US. There is a free version if you just want the basic functionality without GPS support; it also doesn't support caching of the parsed light list, which means the list has to be re-parsed each time it needs displaying.
