This brings up a good question...at least for me.  I want to check and remark
my dipstick.  Frankly, after a fresh oil change I have a hard time reading the
oil level on the dipstick.  I've tried blotting it against a paper towel or
looking at it under a strong light but these old eyes of mine have a thought
time determining a "line'.  Once I've got 25 hours or so on the oil change I
can see the line pretty well but by then its too late.  Any tricks or
suggestions?  Inquiring minds want to know!

Maybe use that UV marker fluid in the oil and use a UV light to see it. Or get

Try drilling 1/16" holes in the dipstick at and above and below the level.
It will be easy to tell where the level is.

NAPA sell a Dye that you can use in your oil. The color will be visible
as a greenish one, even without a black light.

Try that.
The cost is about about $6.
