Hey Georgs, NC arrived in Langkawai, Malaysia after crossing the Pacific from
Ensenada, Mexico; we (NC) is still using the fuel which I bought at Margarita
Island, Venezuela last June; can't say enough for big fuel tanks !  I had one
other guy as crew from Hawaii on & .NC averaged 8.5  knots across the Pacific
although a better speed would have meant a smoother  ride as this was an
Elnino year with  the wind rarely under 25 knots on the after quarters. Naiads
aren't very efficient at speeds under 8-9 knots; the  paravane system like I
had on Chartwell would probably have  given a better ride under these
conditions. More details later if you like. Best regards, Larry Briggs
