Clinical Psychologist - Selective Mutism Clinic and Child Psychology Clinic

§  Clinical psychologist passionate about working with children

§  Regular individual supervision / supportive environment

We are seeking a registered Clinical Psychologist to work within the
Selective Mutism Clinic and our Clinical Psychology practice in St Leonards,
North Sydney. The practice provides specialised treatment to children with
selective mutism and their schools in Sydney and throughout Australia
through our remote program.

Apart from selective mutism, other common presentations in children and
adolescents are depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm, behavioural
problems, and emotion regulation.

The applicant will provide assessment and cognitive-behavioural and other
evidence-based treatments for selective mutism and other clinical
presentations in children. The position is part- or full-time (2-5 days per
week), depending upon preference, with flexible work days and hours. The job
offers flexibility and independence and a high level of clinical support if
needed (i.e., weekly individual supervision, monthly peer supervision) and
access to resources, within a supportive and caring work environment.

Essential criteria:

§  Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology

§  Full registration with the AHPRA

§  Solid training in CBT and other evidence-based treatments
