On 1/26/14, the monk parakeets were squawking bloody murder, so I looked out and saw 2 Red Tails fly by. One landed on a large nest from last year, made out of big sticks in the top of a very tall tree, and the other landed on a nearby branch. After a few minutes, they flew off. Sign of spring...I haven't seen any activity since.
