While surfing the net I ran across a site advertising the American Tug with
a price tag of around $260K. The pictures show a beamier, longer version of
the NT 32 with higher freeboard (optical illusion? - no light-colored boot
stripe and no swim platform). They advertise a 330 hp Cummins with only an
additional 3000 lbs displacement (2 feet of beam and 2 feet of length should
add a lot of displacement, shouldn't it weigh more?). Somewhere there was
mention of a half dozen having been produced, examples to be shown at
upcoming boat shows. Interestingly several Nordic Tug dealers were listed as
selling the new American Tug.

I wonder if the NT 32's escalating price will send it toward the oblivion of
the NT 26 which was discontinued because nobody would pay that much for that
sized vessel.

Can anyone advise a website that shows the prices for the standard range of
Nordic Tugs?
