THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (January 2-8) and FINAL FALL GFC ROLL CALL!

2023 has arrived... 1/23 Let's Go! If you continued your training through
the fall, now is the time to take advantage of your fantastic fitness in
preparation for the upcoming running and triathlon season!  If you took a
break, hopefully you are well rested and ready to get back to it!

A couple of groups that have not taken any extended time off are your club
leaders and coaches.  We have been diligently preparing for 2023 and will
be kicking things off early in the year with the following January/February
activities...

• Gators Pizza Club pizza party and the kickoff of a new club (details
coming soon)!

• Annual Training Plan / Training Peaks Usage seminar by the Gators Head
Coaching team!

• Sports Nutrition seminar!

• Gators "endurance sports bingo" where you will have the opportunity to
part with some items that you have never used or no longer need and where
you might find the missing component to your endurance sports success!

• Gatorthon!

• Sponsor comp entries! We'll be raffling off more than a dozen entries to
fantastic events offered by our spectacular sponsors!

• Winter Gator Fitness Challenge! It starts TODAY and runs for 13 weeks
through April 2.

• Sponsor events!  Scoogie Events offers "The Great Cupid Run" on Sunday,
February 11 and French Creek Racing offers the "Frozen Hare 2" on Sunday,
February 25!

And besides all of that we'll continue to offer our full workout program
including 5 swims, 3 cycling opportunities, and a run workout each week!
And, even better, we're now including the Runegades 3 group runs in our
weekly schedule!  This means that you now have workout options 7 days a
week!

Speaking of workouts, we'll cover more about those right after these
reminders...

Get a BK Pint Glass! If you have not yet had a chance to pick up your
special edition "Have fun, Gator Done, then drink a beer!... Coach Brian"
pint glass, there are some opportunities this week (just let me know ahead
of time so that I know to bring one for you). We'll continue to distribute
them to all current members (1/person) until they are gone. Here is where
you can get one...

• Monday/TOINIGHT, 7pm-8:15pm before or after the swim workout

• Tuesday, 7pm-8:15pm at the spin workout in the SVY cycling studio

2023 Membership Renewal: The renewal period (early December through
January) has passed the midway point.  Thanks to all of you that have
already renewed your memberships!  An email reminder will be sent to all
others.  If you do not plan to renew this year, please send me a message
and we will remove you from our follow-up list.  Otherwise, all 2022
memberships will stay in tact through January; on February 1 we'll update
our databases, including Facebook group, email list, Training Peaks
accounts, and USAT club roster to match our current membership at that time.

Workouts Attendance Poll: To assist with workout planning, please check all
workouts that you plan to attend.

GFC Roll Call!: Last week was the final week of the fall Gator Fitness
Challenge, week 13, so it's time for the weekly "Roll Call"!  And watch for
a signup for the winter GFC coming later today! If you completed any of the
three challenges for week 13 (Monday 12/26-Sunday 1/1), please post a
comment...

• "SBR" if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (30 minutes of each)
AND/OR...

• "SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (30
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...

• "Plank" if you completed the progressive Plank Challenge that ended with
a 5 minute monster plank!

• "All 3" if you completed all 3 challenges
