New Member Introduction: Dr. Dandan Chen

Dear friends of the Society for Song, Yuan, and Conquest Dynasties Studies,
Hope you are keeping well! Many of you have started teaching in the recent
weeks, and I hope everything will go well despite the challenging
circumstances.

In my capacity as the secretary of the society, please allow me to
introduce a new member of the listserv, Dr. Dandan Chen. Please see her
self introduction below. Welcome, Dr. Chen!

Dandan Chen received her Ph.D. from Harvard University. Currently she is
Associate Professor of History in the Department of History, Politics, and
Geography at Farmingdale State College, State University of New York. She
is Coordinator of Asian Studies Minor, teaches and advises for the
Department of Science, Technology, and Society. Her interdisciplinary
research interests include late imperial China and modern China, with a
focus on literature, philosophy, and intellectual history.
