Last report was 10:28 and it is now 12:07, so I'm guessing nobody has seen it since.  Either way, if someone has been there, can you post an update?

Yes it's been here making a loop at the northern end of the orchard on the
water company (east other side of fence) side, near ALT land then moving
down the hill and back up. Viewable through fence. Many many other birders
here. Photos obtained by many. Olive sided Fly continues. CT Warb
continues. Both at northern end of orchard along tree line. Stay on ALT
property please! Present now. Was on the in between fence too.

Be mindful of where you park as well please. We love our neighbors and want
to keep everyone happy.

Additional directions.
Take Merritt Pkwy exit in Fairfield for CT-58. Go north on 58 several miles, past Old Bluebird Inn. . From roadside parking at intersection of Norton and Freeborn, walk N on gravel gated road, take right on blue trail, then right on magenta to orchard. Go thru gate and walk left (north) to hedgerow at n edge of cornfield. Thanks Jeremy Nance!

****ALSO! Some (Mark Danforth , Jeremy?) saw and photographed an unidentified SEEDEATER/ SEEDFINCH at same hedgerow this morning.

About halfway up orchard near top of hill along fence line was one Clay
colored Sparrow, a fall migrant regular here, among hundreds of Palm
Warblers. Flocks of Chipping are around too.

I last saw Say's maybe 115 or 120? The bird was on the last visible post
through the fence doing the downward trip. I left the Say's spot at 150ish
so not sure since but many birders we know were there. Photos later.

Time to hike from Norton Rd trailhead to the bird?  About 30 minutes at a moderately fast, steady pace. Trails are well-marked, but have lots of rocks among the dirt. All through forest.
As some have stated, there is a lot of field and hedgerow habitat at the orchard area, so plan to spend time birding other areas too. There were lots of birds around. Some eBird reports recently listed 61 species! Keep the Patagonia Picnic Table effect going!

I was reminded of the last big rarity at this site: Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (6? Years ago?) and Mississippi Kite has been seen here, if I remember correctly. It's a big open hilltop field among forest, and adjacent to a series of Aquarian reservoirs (Saugatuck, Aspetuck, Hemlock).

Good birding,
