Yes. Mournings are easy to miss if you don't know the song and they often will approach "pishing" but not pop out into the open (I have heard waaaaay more in CT than I have seen). Hence more of them pass through CT than it seems. Now is a prime time for them and any thick tangle or new and dense secondary growth could harbor one, especially near wetlands.
