Pierce Puyallup Art Gallery highlights local photography July 11-Aug. 19

The Pierce College Puyallup Art Gallery will feature the photography of
Jesse Lane, Josh Evans, and Charles Alan at its Summer Exhibition July
11-Aug. 19.

An artists¹ reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 14.
Refreshments will be served. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Lane works as a housing manager for a non-profit group that provides housing
for farm workers. A resident of Wenatchee for the last 20 years, Lane has
taken photos all over the world, including Costa Rica. He is an active
member of the Two Rivers Art Gallery in Wenatchee.

Evans has been a photography teacher in the University Place School District
since 2004. He earned his bachelor¹s degree at the Northwest College of Art
and his master¹s degree at the University of Puget Sound. His work seeks to
capture his subjects¹ internal beauty and reflect it to natural, external
beauty.

Alan is a professional photographer whose work spans the greater northwest
area. He started taking photos at age 15 and spent many years at a small
photography company before starting his own business.

The Fine Arts Gallery at Pierce College Puyallup is located in the Arts and
Allied Health Building, 1601 39th Ave. SE. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
