Note: Some of the most challenging birding involves Gulls.  Among that
group, hybrids pose particular challenges.  Followers of CTBirds the
last couple of days have been treated to (or inflicted with, depending
on point of view) a discussion of one such interesting bird.  Check it
out!

From Anthony Zemba:
03/26/14 - Stratford, Stratford Point Coastal Grassland Conservation
Area -- 1 Meadowlark, presumably Eastern Meadowlark.

From Stefan Martin:
03/26/14 - Greenwich -- 3 adult Northern Gannet working Long Island
sound from Byram to Old Greenwich, probably best views from Indian
Harbor.

From Arthur Shippee:
03/26/14 - Hamden, North Lake Dr -- 4 Rusty Blackbirds & 3 Fox
Sparrows.

From Dan Rottino:
03/26/14 - Hadlyme, Whalebone Creek -- 4:30 PM; 28 NORTHERN PINTAIL.

03/26/14 - Durham. Rt 68, Greenbackers Pond -- 5:30 PM; possible
Cackling Goose (in 200+- Canada Geese). Small sized in comparision to
the Canada's and?the bill was very small and dissimilar in shape.
