Ahoy All:
Well, the Miss Happ has at last reached Mobile Bay.
We docked at the Mobile Convention Center just north
of Mile 00, and on the main channel. Plenty of
fenders are out, but we're within walking distance of
downtown Mobile.
The weather forcast for the next day or two (Mon
and Tues) is not good for Mobile Bay, so we'll stay
where we are until things calm down out there.
Next stop will be Fairhope, Alabama, on the Bay's
east side. After that we'll enter the Gulf
Intra-Coastal Waterway (GICW) and head east to, yes,
FLORIDA.
