[Ontbirds]Cormorant Cull at Middle Island Point Pelee National Park

merits or shortcomings.

Middle Island is an 18 hectare island south of Pelee Island managed as
part of Point Pelee National Park by Parks Canada. It was purchased by
the Nature Conservancy about 10 years ago.  Parks Canada is currently
implementing a cull of nesting Double-breasted Cormorants on Middle
Island.  Reasons for and details of the cull can be found at the
