<!-- DIV {margin:0px;} -->NBC Wednesday Night Racers:
Watercraft have been working a way on the Oldport 26 NBC Launch Vessel -- rebuilt transmission, refurbished prop/prop shaft, new forward mast and lights, new radio, and more. They'll continue work today. Finger crossed the Oldport 26 will be become available sometime this evening -- either in time for outbound racers, or to bring racers back from their moorings.
That said, we may still be on Tin Boat tonight, so plan accordingly.
- At the busiest times, have no more than two people transit to/from your mooring.
Load/unload most of your crew and gear yourself at the touch-'n'-go, without burdening the Launch (Tin Boat).
- Launch Captain may limit the number of people and amount of gear transiting to/from your mooring, or the number of trips to/from your mooring, either for safety or to speed up service.
- Launch Captain will determine the safe load for the Tin Boat, usually 6 or fewer passengers -- but dependent on sea conditions, and overall weight and space required, including gear.
- Launch Captain may move service to the end of the pier (touch-'n'-go).
- Keep touch-'n'-go dock clear for launch service, and to allow boats to transfer crew and gear directly at the dock.
Thanks for your cooperation.
