05/26/09 - East Hartford,  on shore of CT River facing Hartford --
10:00 AM, Anhinga flying up river and then circling up in a thermal
out of sight.

05/26/09 - South Windsor, Station 43 -- KING RAIL (heard but not
seen); 1st year (green) male ORCHARD ORIOLE singing in trees at end of
gardens.

05/26/09 - East Hartford, Rentschler Field (Cabela's Bass Pond) -- 2
DUNLIN (less common inland).

05/26/09 - East Hartford, Cabela's pond -- 2 DUNLIN and 3 UPLAND
SANDPIPERS.  Seen about 11:00.

05/26/09 - East Hartford, Rentschler Field -- UPLAND SANDPIPER,
EASTERN MEADOWLARK, BOBOLINK; GRASSHOPPER SPARROW.
South Windsor -- ORCHARD ORIOLE.

5/25/09 - Greenwich, Audubon Center -- COMMON NIGHTHAWKS several
calling while flying over the Quaker Ridge Hawk Watch site.
5/26/09 - Greenwich, Audubon Center -- YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO calling
between midnight and 1AM.

5/26/09 - Stratford yard/woods -- 2 male Hooded Warblers, both
singing.

5/25/09 - Canton, Water Pollution Control Facility (Collinsville,
along the Farmington River) -- About 10 active CLIFF SWALLOW nests.
