out over water.

The weather site www.fnmoc.navy.mil  (public) provides world wide
forecasting  (including over water) with up to 72 hours outlook in 6
hour
increments for wave height; baro pressure; wind strength; etc.

Try it - I think you will find good forecast information for navigation.
