10/9 Hartford, Hartford North Meadows (farm field north of landfill) -  27 BRANT with one Canada in tow (heading south along river), 1 AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER (low flyover).

Interestingly, I had a flock of Brant go overhead last night at about
10:00pm in Mansfield.  Their call is distinctive and reminds me of spring
Wood Frogs.

Interestingly, I had a flock of Brant go overhead last night at about 10:00pm in Mansfield. Their call is distinctive and reminds me of spring Wood Frogs. Mark Mark S. ...and, more predictably, they are in at Lighthouse Point Park; 50 or so on the New Haven Harbor.
