Hi , I purchased a 130 amp 12 volt Balmar Alternator ff the BST list and was
successful in mounting it to my Deere-The unit puts out 70-100 amps which is
great using just 1 f the 2 + batt. outputs on the Alternator. I run a 750 amp
single 12 volt battery bank-house/engine/gen.
Should I cable the second/unused + output the main charging positive terminal
on the battery bank?, Another positive terminal on the Battery bank? or leave
the #2 output on the Alt. unused?
I am dangerous with most technology.
Thanks Kevin

I would first go to their website and try to print out a manual on this
particular alternator, then if it weren't clear, just call their tech
support and ask. I've found them to be very helpful folks.

Kevin,
According to the Balmar Alternator Owner's Manual, the two outputs must
either be connected to two separate batteries, or else the two outputs must
be "bridged" (jumpered together).
See www.balmar.net/PDF/2000%Manual.pdf under V. ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION
INFORMATION.
