I  have been aboard Dave Cooper's boat and I can tell you there is NO motion
whatsoever when a 4'  wake hits the anchored Swan Song broadside.  Absolutely
unbelievable and I am envious as hell!

I  have corresponded with Dr. Bass about adding an ART to Seahorse, but
unfortunately a suitable tank for our boat would not be aesthetically pleasing.
So we will stick with the paravanes which, after modifying our methods, we  now
find no trouble to deploy/retrieve safely, in a matter of just a few
minutes. As a matter of fact, the only problem we have not yet cured is that  of use
in shallow water. We have a fix, but have not implemented it  yet.

However,  I still believe the ART is perhaps the best solution. I would love
to know  why the builders have not yet embraced it. Perhaps as someone said,
it's because  it is not expensive enough.

Regards,

John
"Seahorse"

A flopper-stopper or two would have helped as well... not sure how to

compare those to a tank for at-anchor roll reduction.
