Back yard next door in New Britain ~ 10:00 PM, sort of a long cawing sound repeated several times - any suggestion?  Closest I've come up with is a scrrech owl.

Last week I had a red fox emitting a short, guttural "caw", on 3 separate nights.  I saw a fox ambling near the street one morning  of last week.
