Hello everybody, I was just wondering if disabling the fan on the usrp might effect it negatively. I am using it without the cover all the time and I think that the fan is not changing much in this case anyway. I never had a problem using it without the cover. Does anybody know if I should better let the fan enabled or even use the cover? Btw. I am using the USRP N210 + WBX. Regards Sebastian

Sebastian - If you have the cover off of the USRP, you don't need to worry about the fan. The fan helps air flow in the enclosure, but you needn't worry about that if the enclosure isn't closed!
