From Bobbie Fisher: 08/11/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 6:20 to 7:00 PM; 6 immature Virginia Rails and 1 adult at East Beach Parking lot.  At edge of lot in channel of restored salt meadow.  Immatures in various ages, some still sporting black punk-looking head feathers. From Hank Golet: 08/12/14 - Old Lyme, Otter Rock Rd -- Immature WHITE IBIS. I received a call from Sue who lives in last house on Otter Rock Rd around 10 AM that bird was in the small salt pond there. I went down around 10:30 and Ibis was still there an hour later when I left. From Frank Mantlik: 08/12/14 - Old Lyme, Otter Creek Rd -- the immature WHITE IBIS continued as of 3:13 PM, hanging with 3 juvenile Glossy Ibis. Thanks, Hank!
