Visitors:
A big thanks to Tim and Tom who helped out as spotters along with Dave from
Ripley, New York. :)
Weather:
Your basic fall day in October although maybe a bit warm reaching 20. Winds
from the SE for the day and some good cloud cover.
Observations:
Another decent flight but no big numbers (there were a few hundred TV's)
but some great variety including another 8 Peregrines. Still no Golden
Eagles :(
Please note that the count site today was inland a bit at 216m 17t 0486276
utm 4726758 for those who are interested.
Predictions:
Friday is predicted to have moderate E winds and sunny with cloudy periods.
Not usually the best winds for a big flight but since the weather is
reasonably nice some birds will still move.
