Eurasian Wigeon (Huron): One possible bird was reported from Hullett Marsh on May 2. King Eider (Toronto): The long-staying female off Tommy Thompson Park was reported May 6. Harlequin Duck (Algoma): A female type bird was reported off Whitefish Island, Sault Ste. Marie May 1 and 2. Harlequin Duck (Peel): Three birds were reported together off J.C. Saddington Park on May 2 and nearby at Adamson Estate, Mississauga May 5. Harlequin Duck (THUNDER BAY): The female bird continued off Terrace Bay May 1-6. Eurasian Collared-Dove (Essex): One bird was reported from Albuna Townline between Mersea Rd 6 and 7 on April 30 and May 5-6. This is the same area where up to two birds were present for much of last year. Eurasian Collared-Dove (Ottawa): One bird was seen by a number of observers at Shirley's Bay May 5. White-winged Dove (Chatham-Kent): One bird was seen on Baldoon Rd near Wallaceburg May 6. Marbled Godwit (Huron): One bird was seen at Seaforth Sewage Lagoons May 2-4. Marbled Godwit (Niagara): One bird was in a flooded field along Airport Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake May 6. Marbled Godwit (Norfolk): One bird was in the ponds off Old Cut (also viewable from Long Point Provincial Park) May 6. Purple Sandpiper (Ottawa): The bird on the Quebec side of the river, was viewed from Britannia April 30 and May 1. Western Sandpiper (Essex): One bird was reported at Hillman Marsh May 6. Laughing Gull (Simcoe): One bird was at the Barrie waterfront (mostly Minet's Point) and viewed by many May 4-6. Pacific Loon (Toronto): One bird was off Tommy Thompson Park May 5-6. NEOTROPIC CORMORANT (Ottawa): The Ottawa bird remained around Dow's Lake April 30 to at least May 5. Glossy Ibis (Haldimand): A flock of nine birds were near Lowbanks May 5 and at least seven remained May 6. WHITE-FACED IBIS (Algoma): One bird was photographed in Michipicoten May 4-5. Black Vulture (Bruce): One bird was seen near Miller Lake May 1 and 2. Black Vulture (NIagara): One bird was reported this week from Queenston, on May 1. Mississippi Kite (Essex): One bird was reported at Point Pelee May 4 and 5. ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER (Chatham-Kent): One bird was reported at Rondeau Provincial Park May 2. EURASIAN TREE SPARROW (Norfolk): Two birds were seen together briefly at LPBO's Breakwater station May 2. Lark Sparrow (Bruce): One bird continued visiting feeders between Inverhuron and Tiverton April 30-May 2. Harris's Sparrow (Kawartha Lakes): The Charlore Park Drive bird was reported all week again this week. Harris's Sparrow (Norfolk): The Port Dover bird was reported to at least May 5. Worm-eating Warbler (Essex): One bird was seen on the Redbud Footpath, Point Pelee May 1. Another or the same was reported in Point Pelee May 4. Yellow-throated Warbler (Chatham-Kent): One bird was seen by several observers April 30 at Rondeau Provincial Park. Yellow-throated Warbler (Hamilton): One bird was seen by many at Bayfront Park May 4. Yellow-throated Warbler (Prince Edward): One bird was seen by several observers at Prince Edward Point May 2. Summer Tanager (Chatham-Kent): One bird was photographed at Paxton's Bush May 1. Summer Tanager (Essex): On May 2, singles were north of Point Pelee National Park, Holiday Beach CA, and Fish Point (Pelee Island). The Fish Point bird continued to at least May 4. Another bird was at Point Pelee National Park May 5. Blue Grosbeak (Middlesex): One bird was seen by many at Killaly Meadows ESA, London May 4-6. Painted Bunting (Ottawa): A female was at the Shirley's Bay feeders on Hilda Rd May 2-6 and enjoyed by many.
