10/15/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach SP -- 10:30 AM; ROYAL TERNs off
Meigs Point on rocks and flying.

10/15/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 12:55 PM; Six Royal
Terns as reported earlier still at end of Meigs Point.

10/15/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 3 PM; just counted 9
Royal Terns from the end of the moiraine trail.

10/15/14 - Pomfret yard -- Lincoln's Sparrow, 20+ Pine Siskins, 6
Purple Finches.

10/15/14 - Norwalk, Dolce Center -- A quick after-school jaunt turned
up 3 (possibly more) WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS amongst the hordes of
other sparrows.  Other notable birds on the property included
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Brown Creeper.

10/15/14 - Madison, Bauer Park -- Blue Grosbeak seen at 5:40 PM in
garden. North west plot same place it was seen last fall. Got really
good looks. It teed up on tomato cage. It was feeding in Fox Tail.

10/15/14 - Stafford Springs, yard -- The Purple Finch frenzy is still
going, my regulars are having a hard time getting on the feeders.

10/15/14 - Barkhamsted, Saville Dam -- About 15 PINE SISKINS.

10/15/14 - Waterford, Harkness SP -- 2 drake COMMON EIDER,  1 drake
BLACK SCOTER, 1 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, 11 immature WHITE-CROWNED
SPARROW.
