in same spot as yesterday.

10/27/13 - Madison, Hammonasset SP -- LARK SPARROW near the
playground. Seen from 9:36 to 10:29 AM. The Lark sparrow was in 3-4
locations Moving around with a flock of other Sparrows. Patience is
key & not crowding the group of sparrows w the Lark is highly
suggested when viewing. Last seen around 4 PM.

in the morning. Quite birdy. 2 Vespers Sparrows, a diminished American
Pipit flock (but still 27).

fly over headed south. And one female Purple Finch at my thistle

10/27/13 - Westport, Sherwood Island State Park -- a RED-HEADED
WOODPECKER flew over us at West Beach towards the West Woods. Not sure
if it stopped in woods or continued flying west. We did search the
woods for it unsuccessfully; but it may be in there somewhere. Other
highlights included Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

concentrations of waterfowl if it continues to recede.
