I am using the 101 degree standard definition satellite today.  The standard def satellite is a configuration option on the hidef receivers.  If they plan to shut it down in 2019, that's news to me.  I haven't heard that, and I plan to continue to have it as my base TV option.  Else, DISH, here I come.

We have an AzTrax antenna.  Automatically tracks azimuth, manually adjust elevation.  Simple.  Works great.  Article on my website about it.  Here's the link: https://gilwellbear.wordpress.com/category/boat-technical-topics/equipment-topics/aztrax-tv-antenna/.

Hope this helps!
