CSpace Community:

Big news - Richard Millet, our wonderful tech lead, is leaving LYRASIS to take a position as a Senior Technical Lead in UC Berkeley's Educational Technology Services group.

Richard has been a part of the CollectionSpace program since the very beginning, starting as Lead Services Engineer at UCB, and then coming over to LYRASIS to serve as tech lead for the program overall. In the past four years he has guided us through several major releases, the UI upgrade, and countless improvements that are of great importance to the overall health of the application, from Nuxeo upgrades to a re-write of how we handle configuration.

The great news is that he'll continue to be involved with the program, as he works with the CollectionSpace implementers on the UCB campus.

Mark Cooper at LYRASIS has stepped in as interim tech lead; he has worked closely with Richard for the past four years and has strong knowledge both of the application and our community. We're in good hands!

Please let me know if you have any questions. We look forward to exciting things in the new year, and wish Richard best of luck in his new position.

Thanks,

Megan
