03/26/09 - Watertown, Bunker Hill Road -- 6 EASTERN MEADOWLARKS. Birds
were together in a grassy area slated for a small subdivision that at
present consists of one unsold house and several unsold lots.

03/26/09 - Portland, Portland Fair Grounds skating pond -- a minimum
of 44 WILSON'S SNIPE.

03/26/09 - Stratford, Access Rd pools (opposite RE Michel) -- morning,
2 BLUE-WINGED TEAL (one male, one female).
Milford, Milford Point -- one "COMMON" (Eurasian) GREEN-WINGED TEAL
with about 250 Green-Wing Teal.

03/26/09 - Stratford, Stratford Point -- 12:15 p.m., 12 Northern
Gannets flying strung out along the shore heading west, some pausing
to dive (herring?).

03/25/09 - Litchfield, N. Shore Rd. (Bantam Lake's Pt. Folly) -- 2
BLUE-WINGED TEAL.

03/25/09 - Winchester, 121 Laurel Way (Rosgen Wildlife Sanctuary) -- 1
Common Raven.
Barkhamsted, Rt. 318 & 219 (MDC's Barkhamsted Reservoir, as viewed
from the Saville Dam w/ a spotting scope) -- 38 Common Ravens & 3
immature Bald Eagles all battling over yet another deer carcass (the
3rd this winter) on the ice.  This reservoir is still 100%
frozen-over.  Also, the raven nest on a ledge that is easily seen from
the dam with a scope is now complete.

Feeders) -- 3 Fox Sparrows.
N. Shore Rd. (Bantam Lake's N. Bay & Pt. Folly) -- 2 Northern Pintail.
