Shakespeare in the Conservatory

"When daisies pied and violets blue
And lady-smocks all silver-white
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight"
Love's Labours Lost (Act 5, Scene 2)

Are you a fan of Shakespeare? Are you interested in plants and plant-lore?  Then you must join us at the W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory!  You have two chances to enjoy scenes from various Shakespearean comedies and tragedies, performed by Metro Arts Theatre Company students.  You can also experience the special Shakespeare in Bloom exhibit at the conservatory and learn about the plant-lore that is woven throughout Shakespeare's work.
